MSA Awareness Month
Join Mission MSA in March as we spread awareness of multiple system atrophy!
March is Multiple System Atrophy Awareness Month! During this month, Mission MSA takes this opportunity to educate the world about this rare and fatal neurodegenerative disorder. By raising MSA awareness, we can seek earlier diagnosis, encourage policymakers to increase access to services and fund research into MSA, as well as reduce the feelings of isolation faced by patients and care partners.
During Multiple System Atrophy Awareness Month, we’ll share many opportunities for you to Shine a Light on MSA. Mission MSA will provide daily suggestions on ways to share your story, tell more people about MSA, and learn from other people in the MSA community.

This March, we invite you to shine a light on multiple system atrophy and help spread awareness of this rare neurodegenerative disease. Every action, big or small, makes a difference.
We’re taking MSA awareness to new heights! We’ve rented digital billboards to reach new people like never before. Plus, our feature with ViewPoint with Dennis Quaid aired on national television on March 12th. This project has also been distributed to Public Television affiliates nationwide and will air throughout the year on networks like CNN, MSNBC, and more—reaching over 160 million households in 2025!
Later this month, we’ll also be heading to Washington, D.C. to meet with members of Congress for our MSA Capitol Hill Day.
